About me

After moving from Portugal to Guernsey in 2016, I completed a level 2 ICT course at the College of Further Education with a merit level and then enrolled in the level 3 course. I am highly motivated and passionate about IT, frequently working on IT-related projects in my spare time, and always learning through inquiry. For instance, I have been an active volunteer for the Tumaini Fund, where I refurbished computers to be used by African orphans. I am a good problem solver, able to work independently and responsibly

As an IT Technician at The Ladies' College, I was responsible for the smooth operation of IT services for over 400 students and staff, ensuring efficient network performance and resolving technical issues. I managed the Service Desk, oversaw software deployment, and configured device policies through Microsoft Intune to maintain a secure and compliant environment.

Key responsibilities included:

  • Endpoint Management: Managing device enrollments, software deployments, and policy configurations for both Windows and Apple devices using Microsoft Intune.
  • Windows Server Administration: Maintaining virtualized Windows servers, ensuring system stability, and managing backups.
